# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1/4 cup oyster sauce, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp granulated sugar, and 1/4 cup water. Set aside for your Quick Chinese Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry.
02 - Thinly slice 1 lb flank steak against the grain. Ensure 1 lb broccoli florets are bite-sized. Mince 4 cloves garlic and grate 1-inch fresh ginger. Season the beef with salt and black pepper to taste.
03 - Heat 1 tbsp high-heat cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat until shimmering. Add half of the seasoned 1 lb flank steak and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until browned. Remove and repeat with remaining beef and 1 tbsp high-heat cooking oil.
04 - Add the minced 4 cloves garlic and grated 1-inch fresh ginger to the wok. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add 1 lb broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
05 - Return the seared 1 lb flank steak to the wok with the broccoli. Give the prepared 'Umami Stir-Fry Elixir' a quick whisk, then pour it over the beef and broccoli. Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything for your Quick Chinese Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry.
06 - Remove the Quick Chinese Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry from heat. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced green onions and 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.

# Notes:

01 - For extra tender beef, consider velveting the flank steak. Toss the sliced beef with 1 tsp cornstarch and 1 tsp soy sauce before cooking. This creates a protective coating.
02 - Feel free to substitute other quick-cooking vegetables like snap peas, bell peppers, or carrots. Chicken or shrimp can also be used instead of flank steak.
03 - Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
04 - To add a kick, include 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or a dash of chili garlic sauce with the aromatics.
